Hi Everyone,
When the Bicycle Built For You stamp set was released by Lawn Fawn recently, I, like a lot of people, was so excited about the idea of putting my little characters on the bike and creating all manner of scenes based around this concept. In fact, when I sat down to create with the set for this first time, that was my plan. Of course, things never go to plan, do they? lol And on this occasion, I am thankful they didn’t. You see, it crossed my mind that the bike flag looked a little like half of a swing set. I then got to thinking about how I would *love* it if Lawn Fawn released a rope swing to hang from their tree dies. How fun would that be! As they currently do not have this as part of their range, I had to create it for myself. They do have a tyre swing but it wasn’t quite what I had in mind (and I don’t believe the sizing was correct). It’s not the most perfect of swings as you can see and I really want to play around with this design some more but I really do love the concept. (Please, Lawn Fawn, create a swinging rope and swing set to go with the tree dies. Oh, and while I am at it, a large wooden bench to go under the tree too. I have plans! haha).

For my second card, I wanted a fuller green tree look and to have the girl wear a brighter pink to more closely match the Plastic Flamingo ink I used for the sentiment. I also decided to brighten the sky and add a little more grass.

Finally, as you all know I *love* Lawn Fawn products so I was very excited to read they have started a new challenge blog called Lawn Fawnatics. I am going to enter the above card in this challenge.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope these cards tempt you to look at your stamps a little differently instead of how they were originally intended to be used. As for me, I’m off to create some more! It might even be a third attempt at this card design as wouldn’t it look ever so pretty if there was a field of flowers at her feet…or at the very least a few flowers. lol Oh, and I’d like to try and position her so she is holding onto the swing. I didn’t mind that she wasn’t in my cards above as I thought she might be about to jump off. So fun! Okay, happy creating! Have a great day!
Happy Stamping!
