Hi Everyone,
I’m going to switch things up just a little bit today by using one of the other images which came in my Super Secret Stamp Club subscription from The Greeting Farm. As soon as I saw Honey I thought how cute she would be as an air hostess or in a diner from the 60’s. (I did have to cover the little skull which featured in her hair ribbon as that didn’t quite fit in with the images I was picturing). I do keep hunting for some diner style stamps to go with her – stools up at a counter; a blackboard menu in the background – so cute! Or her standing by a window with planes lined up outside. lol Since I don’t have any stamps like that I went with a travel theme for my first card (yes, first card, I have coloured this image in quite a few times…still have three of the images waiting to find a card for them to live).
Here’s the card…
It’s a little different from my usual style but I thought I might try and expand my repertoire – at least until I find those elusive diner stamps. 😉 lol
Thank you for stopping by today! Hope you are having a wonderful day!
Happy Stamping!

[…] up is an adorable card I found over at Studio 4490 using a SSSC sweetie, […]
Oh my, Kylie, your Honey IS a honey, all decked out in her flight attendant outfit, and nestled against beyond-charming travel-themed images. Utterly adorable – and your colouring, as always, blows me away! Seriously awesome x fabulous! I’m still dithering about with the Chameleon pens…slowly getting the hang of them; “slowly” being the operative term! Your card has warmed with ‘balmy’ -26C day; a warming tend in the forecast…oh how I hope it comes to be. The one furnace causing us issues totally broke down yesterday; thankfully, my brother has a ‘space’ heater, so running it is keeping my mom from worrying about pipes freezing. We had scheduled new furnaces to be installed on the 19th…I’ll be making a call to see if we can more that earlier. Fingers crossed…
Hugs~c
She’s darling, isn’t she! Thank you, C! Your kind words are always warm and encouraging (and often come exactly when I need to hear them! Thank you!). I so sorry to hear your furnace woes continue. I’d send you our warmth if it were possible! Here’s hoping things happen a little more quickly than currently scheduled! hugs!
They are super cute!! I’m so lucky to have the tree of them too.
You made some nice cards with these mft stamps, love the wood scène on the other blog post 🙂
Thanks, Ellen! They are super cute stamps, aren’t they?! So versatile! Cannot wait to see what you are doing with them!
She’s a little cutie patootie! I think the ‘compass’ paper helps give her an airline hostess look. But it’s your coloring and composition that always blows me away. Seriously. So what’s next for you dear heart??!! xo
lol Yes, maybe it is more a “me” thing than the design of the stamp. The paper is so cute! I forgot to mention that the compass part of the paper was a foil finish so it has a bit of shine….LOVE it! And thank you for you amazingly kind compliment, Bev! You never cease to bring joy to my world. xx
You know, now that I see your card, she totally does look like a hostess! I love the card, too. Very different, but awesome layering and great use of patterned paper.
I’m so glad to see you back in creative mode. I’ve missed your cards. 🙂
Did you sign up for the new club (Jan-March)? I did, and I can’t wait to see what the themes are this month. 😀
Oh I am glad you can see it too, Elle! Sometimes I think it is just my warped view. haha I missed the boat on the Jan-March club. Went to look the other day but it had closed. I cannot wait to see what you come up with though. Thanks again for your kind words, Elle! Totally appreciate it. xx
