Two posts in one day – there’s a surprise! I thought I would struggle to write once a day, let alone twice – but here we are!
I wanted to share the card I created using the new stamps I received yesterday from Paper Smooches. I added a few stamps I already had as I thought they fitted too. I confess I don’t love this card. It feels a little flat to me, in terms of overall appearance. It has layers and texture but just comes across a little bland. I will be sure to play around with this design again but will try some different colours and hopefully next time it will really pop.

Materials used: Stamps – Birthday Sampler, Forest Whimsy, Happy Camper, Spring Groves, Summer Groves (Paper Smooches) and Scroll Tapestry 1992M (Penny Black); Cardstock – American Crafts, Knight; Stickles – Star Dust (Ranger); Distress Inks and Distress Markers.

Very sweet. They don’t look at all flat to me. Lots of bright colors, well organized, and cute images. If you think it’s flat, pop up a cloud or two, and/or the sentiment panel; they’d be balanced by the glittery flowers. But I like it just the way it is. Your coloring is phenomenal.
