Penny Black Love

Hi Everyone,

I was absolutely THRILLED to discover Penny Black had chosen to feature my card from yesterday on their Facebook page today. I had absolutely no idea until I checked my email when I woke up and someone had made mention of it. Of course, I immediately went to Facebook to have a look. I was so excited to see it there and confess to being quite overwhelmed by the nice comments people had taken the time to write. What a way to start a Monday!

Of course, when I sat down to create today, I knew I wanted to play with more of the gorgeous stamps from Penny Black. I am still making ‘Thank You’ cards so the plan was to choose something cute (easily done with Penny Black) and something I could colour. I also wanted to make the card bright and colourful…and different from the style I seem to be favouring at the moment – square/rectangular card, patterned paper, popped dotted centre panel. As you can see, it just didn’t work out that way. lol I was also playing around with the colour of the kitten and before I knew it I had made two cards.

Two more darling cards, Kylie! Love those little kitties. And once again, perfect coloring! I wasn’t late for church, and it was a lovely service. Wanted to mention that there is a coloring challenge over at Lawn Fawn…just sayin’! With your mad coloring skills, you should enter! Hope your day is/was fantastic! Bev
