Hi Everyone,
As I was saying earlier, I needed to split my post into two. Where was I? Oh yes, whilst I liked the very natural, earthy colours of card one, I thought it would be interesting to see the same card with brighter colours and so I grabbed the copics and set to colouring. (Weirdly I think this card looks better in the photograph than it does in real life. lol)
Here’s card two…
And I am pleased to enter this card into the new Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge Anything Goes challenge.
And that is all from me for now.
Happy Stamping!

Wow! This is amazing coloring and such an adorable scene you’ve created! I totally adore it! Thanks so much for playing at Paper Smooches Sparks this week!
Thanks so much, Rachel! It’s always fun to play along in Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenges! 🙂
With the lovely bright colors, this card just says “Hurry up, autumn!” It’s a different feeling from the first card, but lovely nonetheless.
My favorite part is the clouds. How do you get them to be so gorgeous?!?
Thanks, sweet Elle! 🙂 For the clouds, I sponged “tumbled glass” distress ink over the entire background. Then I took a die cut cloud and sponged “broken china” distress ink over the top. Kept moving the cloud die into different locations. I quite like this look. 🙂
Awwww!!! Two absolutely sweet cards Kylie!! A perfect sky and a plethora of pumpkins surrounding the most darling scarecrow ever. Your coloring always amazes me, and the composition of your cards is always charming and delightful. So much fun to visit your blog. And I was sorry to hear you had a nasty-a** migraine. Here’s hoping they stay away for at least a week for you. Can’t wait to see your next creations!! : )
Thank you, Bev! You always encourage me so much and I really appreciate it! I know you know what the YKW’s are like! Hope they have been leaving you in peace. Thank you again, sweet Bev! hugs!
Oh my, what a difference the choices of colours make! Both are charming, but I must say the fresh, bright ‘spring-y-ness’ of this one is ever so eye-catching. Perhaps that’s the result of where we’re at in our hopes for spring’s arrival. Yet again, your scene is is a delight and your colouring absolutely fabulous!! Two cards and two posts from you means my day is officially sparkly!! Hugs~c
I think these two cards go somewhat to demonstrating why I love stamping so much. The same stamp set, the same design, the same artist – different looks each time! Fun! Thank you, C!! hugs!
This is so cute! I have this stamp set but haven’t used it yet. Thank you for the inspiration!
Thanks Mary! 🙂 It is a fun set, I hope you pull it out and use it. 🙂
