Hi Everyone,
When I heard of the launch of the new My Favourite Things Card Challenges blog, I knew I wanted to play along with some of their challenges this year. As soon as I saw the Sketch Challenge, I knew exactly what I wanted to do and that was to grab the Birdie Brown You’re Super stamp set and create a little scene.
Here’s the card I am entering into the Sketch Challenge…
I did make another card before this one but I felt it fell a little flat in a few areas. I’m going to share it though because it shows a few different ideas. I do plan to play around with this idea a little more over time.
Here’s the card…
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you are all having a wonderful day!
Happy Stamping!

I actually love both so MUCH – the depth of the city is really cool in the second card. LIke super rad. And the first card is just so POWERFUL! <3
Susan!! 🙂 Hi! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today and taking the time to write such a wonderful comment. 🙂 It means a lot! 🙂

These are so fun! I always need cards for kids. What a great idea!
Thank you, Annette! Yes, these would make PERFECT cards for children! They’re so fun to make too. lol
Oh these are both fun!! That stamp set is dynamite and you’ve made it shine!! What fun! 🙂 Thanks for participating in our first challenge! 🙂
Thank you so much, Jill! Was so fun to play along in your first challenge (and I hope to play along in many more!). I appreciate your kind words too, thank you so much! 🙂
*Fist pumpm* YES!! You’re playing in a challenge where oodles of people can ooh and ahh over your incredible talent! I’m so stoked to see you doing this! Cheering and applauding! As for your card: AWESOME! I think both are fabulous, my friend! I see why the first appealed to you: it’s a bit more vivid, and the background paper really makes your scene pop! Fabulous!!

lol Oh C, I do get there *eventually*. 🙂 Thank you so much for being my cheerleader! Always so very much appreciated. 🙂
You have totally rocked this challenge! I love your interpretation of the sketch, and that paper in the tip card is fabulous! Fits just perfectly with the card.
I like the second card, too, although I can totally see why you picked the first. It just pops!
Thanks, Elle! I’ve had that paper for a while and when MFT released the BB You’re Super set I *may* have squealed with delight knowing it would suit it perfectly. lol Such a dag!
