Hi everyone,
Earlier this year, my partner and I travelled across the country twice – it was brilliant! We were fortunate to have some wonderful family who allowed us to camp on their properties for a time and I am well and truly overdue in sending them ‘thank you’ cards.
This cute card is one I made to send to our family member who hosted us on his farm and even helped tow us out when it looked like we were going to be bogged.
To create the card I used quite a few stamps and dies – Build-A-Barn, Tiny Farm, Elphie Selfie, Die-Namics Blueprints 20, Stitched Hillside Backdrop Landscape and Pivot Pop-Up. It was a little time-consuming but so fun too.
Here’s the card…
If I can give one bit of advice – that I have continually failed to follow in all my years of creating – position everything before adhering it. You might notice the clouds aren’t necessarily positioned perfectly. You see, I originally planned for the sentiment to be different but I just couldn’t get it to work. I decided to go with a simple sentiment on a cloud and while I love how it looks, the balance is a little wrong. The sentiment is also clear to read in real like, the glitter reflected the light which makes it hard to read in the photo.
I hope you’ll give this card a try!
Thanks for stopping by today!
Happy Stamping!
Kylie
