Hi Everyone, today I am sharing four cards using the “The Best” clear stamp set by Penny Black. Unfortunately, I think it has been discontinued as I have been unable to find it in any of the usual places.
The reason I have four cards is because I was really struggling with colouring the little cute girl’s hair. I stamped the image a few times and just kept colouring. I do still have to work on the hair colouring but I think I get better each time. It is all just practice.
For the first card, I coloured over the patterned paper with one of the green copic markers I used to colour the image. It just helped to tie the paper and the image together. I also had trouble with the white space so added extra flowers. I do wish they were a little smaller though! I popped up the flower on her hair too.
Here’s the card…
For the next card, I decided to centre the middle panel and just add a few more rhinestones. Can you have too many rhinestones? Maybe! But not on this card.

For the next card, I decided to keep things very simple. I also returned to a card design which I tend to favour.
Here’s the card…
With one little cutie left, I decided to change the format of the card to a landscape design (but notice it is the same basic design as the card above but it looks quite different). I added a nice pretty pink patterned paper to highlight the colours of the hearts on her dress as well as the shoes and flowers.
Here’s the card…
And so that is how my attempt to colour hair ended up with four cards.
I hope you are all having a wonderful day. Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Stamping!

Hope you had a wonderful Easter holiday, my dear friend! So happy to see you out in blogland again, and what a quartet of cuties!! Your coloring continues to be inspiring and wonderful. I love these images; they just make me smile. Your cards are all happy cards, each a bit different from the other, but all darling. Hope that you’re doing that LF challenge every single time now, as you’d win ’em all! We should do some FT one of these days…. : )
