Magic Colour Slider Cards (Lawn Fawn)

by Kylie
Many Thanks

Who doesn’t love an interactive card? It is so much easier to make interactive card due to all the fabulous dies on the market these days. As soon as I saw the Lawn Fawn “Magic Colour Slider” die, it went to the top of my “must have” list. Lawn Fawn really do make it easy to make cute and fun cards. It really only took me a few hours to put three cards together and I cannot wait to share them with you all. I grabbed an older Lawn Fawn set called “Critters from the Past”. I used to *love* this set and realised I hadn’t used it in quite a while. Time to change that.

I also must apologise for the lighting on my photographs.

Here’s my first card…
You're Dino-Mite

You’re Dino-mite
Materials used: Stamps – Critters from the Past, Home Sweet Home (Lawn Fawn); Dies – Critters from the Past, Magic Colour Slider Die (Lawn Fawn); Ink – Intense Black (Simon Says Stamp), Tumbled Glass, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn (Tim Holtz/Ranger); Cardstock – X-Press It Blending Cardstock; Acetate, and Copic Markers.

And with the slider pulled out…

You're Dino-mite

For the second card, I thought the dinosaur in the middle panel needed to move a little further into the middle of the card. I also decided to add a white border around the middle panel. I thought it might make it pop a little.

For my last card, I really wanted to see how the card would look if I used black for the card base and the slider panel. I *love* it!

So there you have it – three quick and simple magic colour slider cards. It won’t be the last you see from me using the Magic Colour Slider die as I had *so* much fun putting it all together.

Have you tried making a slider card?  If not, I hope you give it a try and that you love it as much as I do.

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you have a fabulous day!

Happy Stamping!

I’ve been bad. A naughty, naughty commenter…. But you know I’m totally enamored by this amazing trio of magic cards!! I love them. While they will thrill any youngster (what an old fashioned word…), even us grown ups will play and play and play with it! Let’s not forget your coloring either…. Pretty darn brilliant if you ask me. I love these cutie patooties! FT again one of these days soon? Hope so!! xoxo

Amazing!
Interactive cards have really been on the rise lately, and so many companies have bits and bobs that help you make them. I love how you combined your awesome scene-building talent with a bit if magic. Very, very cool!
