Hi Everyone,
Here we are at post number two for today and it’s all about Paper Smooches. They have the best challenges and this weeks is no exception.
And here is my second attempt at this sketch although I actually started this card first. I had finished sponging the background with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and I’d given it a light misting of water. When I put the stamped and cut out images on the top it looked so washed out. I put it aside and went onto another card. Once I had finished I picked up the background and realised all that was missing was more colour so I added another layer of distress ink in Broken China this time. Much happier with the look. I left off the clouds because I liked the sky and with the water droplets I felt they looked like stars. Decided just to keep it plain and simple. (Oh, and speaking of Distress products by Ranger. I was just on their website and they have announced the release of another 12 Distress Markers! Yay! They are automatically on my wish list. Love the colours.)
So here is card number two:
Thanks for visiting! Hope you have a happy day!
Happy Stamping!

Another super cute card– love the pop of pink for the hearts:) Thanks so much for joining in the fun with the Paper Smooches SPARKS team!!! Hope you will play along this week for the Picture Perfect challenge:) I apologize for not leaving a comment sooner– time flies!
Thank you, Savannah! 🙂
I was admiring all of your cards. 🙂 The background is so fantastic, and I love the coloring you’ve done. Fabulous card! Thanks for joining us at Paper Smooches SPARKS!
Thank you so much, Jocelyn! 🙂 I had fun with the challenge again this week. Looking forward to participating again in the future. Thanks for stopping by.
Again, another fabulous piece of art; I’m amazed at how just a few changes results in an entirely ‘new’ card! Can you teach me to colour, please!! As for the info about the new Distress markers – excellent news, and the palette is lovely!! I”m still waiting for my first two sets to arrive from Simon Says; fingers crossed they’ll be here when we return (and fingers extra crossed that maybe, just maybe I’ll find some on sale during our trip, although we’re not exactly traveling in ‘craft-prone’ areas. I can still dream…). Off to see your next beauty…

Hi C, not that I am an expert by any means but I’d be happy to help you with colouring. 🙂 Oh aren’t those colours divine! I have most of them in the ink pads but they are much more convenient in the marker format. I see Simon Says Stamp has them in stock already. They are currently in my shopping cart…waiting for the dollar to improve! Hope yours will be waiting for you upon your return and I hope you love using them as much as I do!
