Hi Everyone,
Whilst I have favoured creating little scenes of late when I stamp, I will try pretty much any technique, design or style. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t. The card I am sharing today is one of my favourite ‘go-to’ designs. It is so versatile – you can make it formal, or playful, simple or more complicated. Whilst I have used stamps for this card, I’ve also made it using some of those gorgeous scrapbooking stickers, as well as lots of patterned papers and die cuts. It’s fantastic!
The design works really well showcasing stamps like this floral design from Penny Black. I couldn’t find the stamp on their website but they’ve just released a coordinating die so it *must* be there. (Update: Apparently the die is a complementary die, it isn’t designed to cut out the Blush stamp.) I’ve coloured directly onto the stamp and then “huffed” on it to re-moisten the ink and then stamped it onto the cardstock. Easy peasy! lol
Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you all have a great day!
Happy Stamping!

Kylie I love your go-to design. You’re right …the versatility can take you from cute to elegant. Today’s design illustrates your point exactly. Beautiful!
Thanks, Elizabeth! 🙂 Appreciate your kind compliment. 🙂
I echo Bev – stunning card with that single flower, oh so delicately pinked! Beautiful! I don’t have any Penny Black stamps in my collection; time to have a look at their site. Again, an exquisite card – inspiring, day-brightening, smile-making! So glad that Bev shared *you*!!

Ooh that is the sweetest thing! Thank you! I am so glad Bev shared me too. 🙂 It’s such a joy to share my creations with people who “get it”. Penny Black has a FANTASTIC range – from cute to elegant and everything in between. If you are like me, you’ll end up with lots of Penny Black in your stash.
Really pretty. I love the look of lone flowers…there’s something just so elegant about them. Your cards are always a delight to see, Kylie. Am having a bit of nojo, so am leisure wander around blog land. This is a good place to visit! Bev
Hi Bev, you always cheer me up with your visits! Thank you! Hope you enjoyed your leisurely wander. It’s nice to stop and ‘smell the flowers’ so to speak. 🙂
