Hi Everyone,
When I mentioned in my post that I had a coloured walrus ready to make into the third card in my “Have an ice day” series (part one can be seen here and part two is here), using Lawn Fawn’s Critters in the Arctic stamp set, I was so inspired! When I sat down to make the card I had a few issues. Limiting myself to creating a card in the same style, varying only a few features, but at the same time making a completely unique card was actually a little more difficult than I had thought it would be. After a few (now recycled) attempts, I finally decided to stop over-thinking things and just make the card. lol In my eyes, this card doesn’t have the flair and creativity of the first two but, on the other hand, had I made it first I’d have loved it. It was just unlucky enough to come in third place. lol
Here’s the card…
Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you have a great day!
Happy Stamping!

I’m with Elle – that signature heart adds just that little extra impact to a card that already has a whole lot of pizzazz! Super darling…loving this trio you’ve created…and now I’ll “have” to add LF to my wish list *grin*!!

That little red heart!!! Oh my goodness, it is like the perfect touch. I love the entire card, of course, and it’s a perfectly lovely design. But that little read heart makes me think that the walrus had it tattooed, and that of course is giggle-worthy. 😀
I think you did such a beautiful job with all 3 cards. The design might be the same, but they each look different and unique. Love it!
It’s too cute, isn’t it?! I’m glad I put it there. Was going to do a cluster of three but decided not to go “fancy”. lol Love the idea of the tattoo – made me giggle too. lol Thanks, Elle! 😀
I love all three of your “ice day” cards! This one is every bit as charming as the other two. Thanks so much for sharing them in the Lawn Fawn Flickr Group.
Thanks so much, Nancy! Love creating with Lawn Fawn stamps – so easy to make cute little scenes. 🙂
