Hi Everyone,
Wow, that was an unintended and long break. Some days pass by so slowly but somehow the time still marches by rapidly. It’s a strange enigma.
When I sat at my craft table today, everything was (unsurprisingly) just as I had left it. lol I wondered why I hadn’t actually finished my card as it was pretty close to completion. Although having said that it still took me a while to put it all together. I really struggled over where to put the sentiment. In the end I just kept it super simple and I like how it fitted into the scene. I think the other ideas I had been toying with would have over-powered an already busy scene. It’s not the card I pictured in my imagination and I don’t love it at the moment but I am hoping that when I look at it in another day or so I will have a new appreciation for it.
Here’s the card…
I *love* Lawn Fawn stamps and I just adore creating little scenes with them. I love how each of the sets can work on their own but they can also mix and match so well too. It just extends the possibilities and that is such a good thing. More value for money, and who doesn’t love that!
Okay, I better go and try and finish the other partially completed card which is pushed off to the side of my desk. Hope you are all having a wonderful day!
Happy Stamping!

After a 10-day holiday, I’m back home and desperately trying to get back into the swing of things. Saw your blog pop up yesterday, but could barely keep my eyes open so comments waited until today. I love this darling card! The little pups are so sweet, and your sentiment is perfectly placed. Once I finish putting all my craft supplies away, I’ll be ready to craft more too. Make sure to read all about my adventures this coming Wednesday…. ; )
Bev, you are a sweetheart! Thank you so much. Your comments always make my day and make me feel special. 🙂 I am so excited to read about your adventures too. Intriguing…. lol hugs! 🙂
This card is absolutely adorable! I love the sweet scene and your coloring is awesome. Sometimes it’s good to step away for a bit when the mojo takes a holiday but I’m glad you found your way back to this card, it’s perfect!
Oh Nancy, thank you! You’re too kind. I agree. Sometimes you just need to step away and come back with fresh eyes. Thank you again! 🙂
Yay, Kylie’s back!!! I hope that elusive mojo has finally stopped vacationing in the tropics and has come back to work on inspiring some creative ideas. I’ve really missed seeing your amazing cards!
This is another signature Kylie scene. I love how all the different bits fit together, and how wonderfully playful you’ve made those pups. Lots of great dimension, and lots of movement – even though it’s a still scene. I like how the sentiment fits, too. It’s subtle but still stands out.
*hugs* Can’t wait for the next card! 🙂
Hi Elle! Nice to have been missed. I’ve missed being active online too. My next stop is your blog to see the pretties you’ve been creating. Thank you for the kind words about my card. I like it a bit more today. lol hugs!
