Wow! It’s hard to believe it has been a week since I last posted anything and I haven’t created anything in this time either. To inspire myself I was flicking through some older cards and came across this one. There’s nothing particularly special about it but I remember having lots of fun creating it. I had just purchased a couple of stamp sets (from Lawn Fawn) and I was trying out colouring with Copic markers for the first time. (USA and Canada friends: There’s a competition on their website to win a marker.) I also thought it was pretty cool that you could use the tree top as bushes for the scene. This is one of the cards which inspired me to start making scenes.

Materials used: Stamps – Bon Voyage, Critters in the ‘Burbs, Critters in the Forest, Making Frosty Friends (Lawn Fawn); Sentiment Sampler (Paper Smooches); Distress Inks; Copic Markers and Glossy Accents (Ranger).

Yayyy…so glad you’re back, and with a darling, delightful and waaaayyyy too cute card, to boot! The brown puppy reminds me of the schnauzers I used to have (although one was grey and one black&white). Fabulous card – and the heart in the tree is such a special touch! LOVE this!
