Hi Everyone,
Hope you have been having a great weekend! I cannot believe it is nearly over. I haven’t created at all today, instead I spent my crafting time sorting out and tidying my supplies. My workspace had shrunk to the size of a postage stamp! lol Time to put everything away and start over. I think too much clutter really thwarts my creative process. Anyway, here’s hoping the clean up will kick start it – I want to colour, you see!
In the absence of anything new, I am sharing a couple of older cards I made using the Lawn Fawn’s Home Sweet Home stamp set. It’s very cute! Taking another look at this stamp set has given me a few new ideas. I cannot wait to play with it again.

Hope you all have a fantastic day!
Happy Stamping!

Hi Kylie – two cards that bring new layers of meaning to CUTE! Again, your colouring is wonderful and the birds + nest + house combination really conveys “love.” Darling! Although I’m new to making cards (1 year come late August), I have a variety of dies (first purchases – and in hindsight, not the direction I should have gone, especially since stamps are less pricey!) and stamps, but no Lawn Fawn. Your showcases of them, however, is seeing me start to lean in their direction – and I’m planning to add a couple to my SSS wish list. My”perfect” card-making scenario would see me as a lottery winner, on a wild and crazy shopping spree, amassing alllll kinds of products, and having zero guilt about doing so!! Dreaming, dreaming!! Thank you for your comments on my blog! I have so much to learn, so much room to grow…and hearing from you just adds to the motivation!!

Another person whose comments brighten my day – thank you, C! 🙂 Oh dies are fun. It’s true, isn’t it? When you start out you have no idea which way your passion will lead. I’ve dabbled in lots of the different techniques and mediums over the years and some have been wasted on me. Wire art in cards – aside from making butterfly antenna, I never got into it. I do, however, have a lovely pot of different coloured wires sitting here waiting for inspiration to strike! lol I can’t see it happening. Oh I love your “perfect” scenario. 🙂 To be honest, mine is very similar! 🙂
I guess I’m behind on my commenting again! Sorry about that. These are darling! Great birdie images, and gotta love that little bird house. The touch of stickles is perfect for the happy couple, and I love the colors you’ve chosen. Did you stamp the blue background with versamark? Very sweet cards, can’t wait to see what else you do with this set. : )
Thanks, Bev! It’s amazing how a little touch of glitter can really finish a project. Yes, the background was stamped with versamark. I thought it needed just a little bit more interest than just plain cardstock. Thanks again. Your kind words always brighten my day! 🙂
