Mojo Monday on a Sunday

Hi Everyone,

I stumbled across the Mojo Monday website for the first time during the week after reading a blog post by Lawn Fawn. Decided I might like to play along. Each week they share a sketch to get the mojo flowing and this weeks sketch just happens to be their 300th! Wow! That’s amazing! Congratulations to all at Mojo Monday!

Here’s my take on the above. I stuck very closely to the design. I wish you could see the colours in person. They are so pretty and so vibrant. I love this Brush Butterfly stamp by Penny Black – isn’t it gorgeous!

Best Wishes Materials used: Stamps - Brush Butterfly 2943H (Penny Black), Dear Lizzy 59156 Stamps (American Crafts); Cardstock - American Crafts, Knight; Distress Ink, Designer Paper - Kneehighs 6x6 Paper Pad (Basic Grey); and Mini Pearls - Spring Assortment (doodlebug design).

Not completely loving my effort because it is too busy for me. It is, however, great to challenge myself to do something different. I think I might try and see if I can create something else before the deadline, something a little more “me”.

WOW, Kylie, this is stunning! You’ve stepped outside your ‘usual’ style and with tremendous success! Bright, bold, beautiful!! Wonderful that you decided to play along!
