Hi everyone,
My plans for tonight fell through so since it is cold and miserable out there I thought I might stay in and do some creating. First up, I wanted to try and change up the card from yesterday to make it a bit more vibrant. It’s essentially the same – a different greeting, changed the background colour and added some toadstools and grass. I like it. I’ve also become a little more fond of yesterday’s card. I can be a little hard on myself.

My Deer Friend
Materials used: Stamps – Forest Whimsy, Happy Camper, Sentiment Sampler, Spring Groves, Summer Groves (Paper Smooches); Scroll Tapestry 1992M (Penny Black); Craft Punch – Grass (Fiskars); Cardstock – American Crafts, Knights; Distress Ink; Distress Markers; Stickles – Star Dust (Ranger) and Glossy Accents (Ranger).
I really wanted to play with the sign stamp in the Happy Camper set so that was next on my creating agenda. I won’t tell you how many times I stamped and painted the little bear. I just couldn’t quite get his fur right but I am moderately happy with the one I ended up using.
