Hi Everyone,

Sometimes inspiration comes in the most unlikely form! I was playing with my new Paper Smooches stamp set, Space Cadet, and I had an idea to use some of the designs in a slightly different way. When I saw the latest challenge on the Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge Blog it all seemed to click.

The theme for this weeks Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge was to be inspired by the image below.

Here’s my entry.  Can you see how I used the planet as the centre of the flower and the petals are made up of the rockets flame?  I was originally going to colour in the petals, and might try that look in the future, but I thought it might be nice to keep it simple.

Warm Thoughts Materials used: Stamps – Space Cadet, Sentiment Sampler (Paper Smooches); Cardstock – Knights; Hero Arts Shadow Mid Tone Shadow Inks – Bubble Gum, Butter Bar, Pool, Stone Wash (Hero Arts); Designer Paper – Plumeria 6×6 Paper Pad (Basic Grey); Distress Stickles – Rock Candy (Ranger) and Mini Pearls – Spring Assortment (doodlebug design).

Warm Thoughts
